A Canfield man was injured after crashing his car into a guardrail in Austintown.
The accident happened around 10 p.m. Monday in the southbound lane of Route 11, between the Interstate 80 interchange and Mahoning Avenue.
Troopers with the Ohio State Patrol said William Blasdell, 46, lost control of his vehicle and hit the guardrail. He was then hit from behind by Herbert Finely, 54, of New Waterford.
Blasdell was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center where he is in serious condition.
The southbound lanes of Route 11 were closed for more than an hour as crews worked to clear the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
