A Warren woman told police she was the victim of a machete attack.

According to police reports, Alexandria Daniel, 21, said she was at a relative’s house in the 200 block of Atlantic Avenue N.E. around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when a woman she knows only as Raphaela drove by the house several times. The suspect then pulled into a parking lot across the street and called Daniel over to her car. The two women began to argue, and the suspect allegedly pulled out a machete and chased Daniel with the weapon.

A witness at the scene said the suspect was screaming and waving the machete at several people.

“She brought the machete out of the car started swinging it around, and she was like literally ready to chop all three of us girls up,” said Shatasha Jones. “She started screaming and hollering, ‘I’m going to come back and get you guys’ and all this other stuff.”

No one was hurt the incident. Witnesses said the woman did stop the chase and got in her car and left.

No arrests have been made.
