Youngstown-based Schwebel’s Baking Company issued a recall Thursday for certain buns because they may contain eggs without a label saying so.

Schwebel’s recalled 18,979 twelve-pack bags of 18 oz. Golden Rich Buns with “best by” dates of Sept. 20 and Sept. 21, the company said in a statement.

Some packages have an incorrect back panel label that does not list the presence of egg.

The buns were distributed in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, New York, West Virginia and Michigan.

No adverse reaction complaints have been reported, the company said.

This product can be identified by UPC Code #071319000838.

The company said buyers can return the buns to where they purchased them for a full refund or replacement. Consumers can call Schwebel’s at 1-800-860-2867.
