Dover exploded for 34 second half points to rally past Canfield 53-26 Friday night.

Trailing 6-0 in the first quarter, the Cardinals got on the board on a 3-yard touchdown run by Kimu Kim, which gave Canfield a 7-6 advantage.
Bryan Kristan added a field goal in the second quarter, to give Canfield a 10-6 lead.
Dover struck back later in the quarter with a 9-yard touchdown to Cory Contini.
Canfield answered back on a busted play to find the endzone, giving them a 17-13 lead with just over five minutes left int he half. The Cardinals would then take a 24-13 lead on a fumble recovery in the endzone.
The Tornadoes cut into the deficit just before the half, when Kyle Abel connected with Shay Smith on a 77-yard touchdown pass.
In the third quarter, Dover took the lead for good on a 1-yard touchdown run by Alex Bowman.
Canfield drops to 0-3 on the season. The Cardinals will host Akron Ellet in week four.
