Greenville improves to 3-0

After last week’s impressive victory over Hickory, Greenville kept it going by dismantling Saegertown, 50-7. The Trojans have not started 3-0 since 2007. Greenville has now posted four straight home victories.

The Trojans scored 29 points within the first six minutes of the game.

After being shutout for ten consecutive quarters to begin the season, Mitchell Schutz plunged in from 1-yard out to put Saegertown on the board. For Saegertown, things can’t get much worse. They have lost their first three games by a combined total of 185-7.

The Panthers have dropped 15 of their last 16 games overall and have not won a road contest in 9 tries.

Greenville (3-0) will play at Sharon next week while Saegertown will welcome Reynolds.
