Niles defeats West Branch, 34-7 on Friday night. It was the home opener for the Red Dragons, and the first time they’ve played on their new field turf.

Niles took an early 7-0 lead on their first drive. Kyle Paden and Marcus Hill hooked up for a 29-yard gain, leading to a Corey Hayes one-yard touchdown run.
The Red Dragons increased the lead to 13-0 in the 2nd quarter, when Paden and Hill connected again, this time for a touchdown. Niles would hold a 20-0 lead at halftime.
The Warriors would not score until the 4th quarter, after trailing 27-0, but Niles capped off the night with one more touchdown.
Niles improves to 2-1 on the year, while West Branch drops to 0-3.
