Springfield downs Lowellville

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Tigers picked up their second win on the season, beating Lowellville 28-6.

With no score in the second quarter, Tiger quarterback Hunter Snyder took the ball on a keeper and scored from 10 yards out, putting Springfield up 7-0.

Later in the quarter, Snyder connected with Mike Allgower on a 32 yard reception, setting up another quarterback keeper and a 14-0 lead.

Springfield will look to keep their roll going as they host Columbiana next week.

Lowellville will try to rebound as they host Mineral Ridge.
