Cupan leads Girard to Victory

James Cupan scored two first half touchdowns to help Girard defeat Warren JFK 27-6 Saturday at Mollenkopf Stadium in Warren.

Cupan’s first score was a one-yard run giving Girard a 7-0 lead.

Girard’s next touchdown was a three-yard plunge which saw Cupan dive through a host of would be tacklers.  Cupan stretched the ball across the goal line for the touchdown.  Girard led 14-0 at halftime.

Girard pushed its advantage to 20-0 before the third quarter ended.

Each team scored a fourth quarter touchdown.
