Sutton’s late goal gives Howland win

Howland scored with just over a minute left in regulation to beat Niles 2-1 Monday night in girls high school soccer.

Hope Sutton found the back of the net with 1:11 left in the game for the decisive goal.

Niles took the lead in the first half when Hanna Ward scored.  The Red Dragons took that 1-0 lead into intermission.

Jordan Entler tied the game with a goal less than nine minutes into the second half.  Jenna Dorchock was credited with the assist.

Howland improves to 6-1-0 on the season while Niles falls to 5-4-0.
