FINDLAY, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in northern Ohio say a truck driver is OK after he ran into a bull that made an early morning escape from a university’s animal science facility.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says the driver lost control after striking the bull and rolled his truck. He was not injured.
The accident happened near Findlay early Monday morning.
The sheriff’s office says the bull belongs to the University of Findlay.
They say the bull managed to get away from university employees who were giving chase before it ran onto the roadway.
A university spokeswoman says the bull died on impact.
