United girls soccer

The United girls soccer team defeated Columbiana 4-2 Monday evening.

Rachel Amos got the Golden Eagles on the board with a putback goal in the 1st half, giving United a 1-0 lead.

Columbiana answered nearly immediately.  Off a corner kick, a United defender knocked the ball into her own goal, tying the game 1-1.

The game would stay that way until the second half, where United’s Mackenzie Gatchel would score twice.  Columbiana’s Skye Kramer would add the Clippers final goal.

United improves to 9-0 on the season, while Columbiana drops to 4-3.
