Two Howland residents were arrested Tuesday on suspicion they made methamphetamine in their home.

The Trumbull Ashtabula Group Law Enforcement Task Force raided a home on Highlawn Avenue S.E. near Ridgelawn Avenue S.E. after a two-month investigation.

Two people, Rachel Chew, 28, and Michael Chew, 22, were arrested on drug trafficking charges. Rachel Chew also faces additional charges of drug possession and possessing chemicals used to make meth.

They will be arraigned Wednesday in Warren Municipal Court.

Two children were found inside the home and are in temporary custody of relatives. Trumbull County Children Services is investigating.
