BOARDMAN, Ohio –  A woman was taken to the hospital after a crash early Wednesday morning in Boardman.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Melrose Avenue, off Southern Boulevard.

Police said Sarah Hale, 30, lost control of the Jeep she was driving and crashed head-on into a parked SUV. Hale was ejected from the vehicle.

Hale was taken to Saint Elizabeth Health Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers at the scene said Hale was driving under suspension.

Both vehicles were heavily damaged.
