Early morning house fire kills man in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (AP) — Authorities say one man was killed in an early morning house fire on Cleveland’s east side.

Fire officials say they were called to the two-story building around 2:30 a.m. Friday. The cause of the blaze wasn’t immediately clear.

Firefighters didn’t immediately release the name or age of the man who died. WEWS-TV reports he lived on the building’s second floor.

No other injuries were reported.
