WARREN - In a battle of Trumbull County programs it was Lakeview that flexed its muscles early on, defeating Champion 36-28.
The Flashes jumped out to an early lead behind Mike Cyrus’ touchdown run and the ensuing two point conversion that game them an 8-0 lead.
But, the Bulldogs would answer.
Angelo Marino connected with Jake Pishotti for a 37 yard touchdown pass. A successful two point conversion would tie it up.
