BROOKFIELD – Behind a big game from senior leader Gary Muntean, the Struthers Wildcats topped host Brookfield 26-7.

Leading by seven in the third quarter, the Wildcats struck again when Muntean threw a 15 yard touchdown pass to Cameron Suchora to give Struthers the two score lead.

But, the Warriors continue to fight. Nate Morrison and Augustus Necastro connected on a seven yard touchdown pass to pull within a touchdown.

The Wildcats would then turn back to Muntean who hit Nick Pollifrone for a 25 yard touchdown strike on a 3rd down and 20 in the fourth quarter to stretch their lead back to two scores.

Struthers will host Hubbard next week in a battle of unbeaten teams.

Brookfield will travel to Warren JFK next Saturday.
