YOUNGSTOWN,Ohio (WKBN) — A vacant house on Youngstown’s South Side was destroyed by fire Saturday night.

Firefighters were called around 7:30 p.m. to a house on the corner of Hillman Avenue and Kenmore Avenue.

A woman at the scene said her grandmother lived in the house until she died two years ago.

With no utilities activated, firefighters suspect arson as the cause.

Paramedics treated one firefighter at the scene.
