Hickory thumps Grove City

The Hornets ended Grove City’s home winning streak at Forker Field with a 37-7 victory.

Hickory opened the game with a Davon Tindall touchdown catch to take 7-0 lead. Grove City marched down the field and scored on a 11-yard score from Foster Reznor to tie the game (7-7).

With Hickory holding a 10-7 lead at halftime, the Hornets outscored the Eagles in the second half 27-0.

Tindall scored 3 touchdowns in the win.

Grove City (3-1) welcomes Greenville in week five. Hickory (3-1) will play host to Titusville.
