AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A semi truck accident backed up traffic Saturday morning in Austintown.
The accident happened around 9 a.m. in the eastbound lane of Interstate 80 near the Austintown I-680 and Rotue 11 interchange.
The Ohio State Patrol said the semi driver was going too fast, lost control and hit a guardrail.
The truck was the only vehicle involved. The driver was cited for failure to control.
Diesel fuel spilled from the truck when it jackknifed across the road.
