Howland girls pull away in 2nd half

Howland defeated Austintown Fitch 3-1 in girls soccer Monday night.

Jenna Dorchock got the scoring started for the Lady Tigers with a goal at the 12:11 mark of the first half.  Jordan Entler was credited with the assit.

Fitch tied the game on Kaelyn Puhalla’s goal, off the assist from Maddy Miller.

Howland scored twice in the second half.  First, Jenn Boyd found the back of the net at the 33:42 mark, giving the Lady Tigers a 2-1 lead.  Then Lydia Weisman notched an unassisted goal at the 24:14 mark to cap the scoring.

Howland outshot Fitch 10 to 4.

Howland improves to 8-1-0 on the season while Fitch falls to 2-6-2
