Ohio man dies after rear-end collision

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A motorist has died after rear-ending a car on the east side of Columbus.

Police say 47-year-old Willie Ray Franks of Columbus struck a vehicle that had stopped in traffic around 1:30 p.m. Monday. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later.

The other driver, 51-year-old David Audino of Pataskala, was not hurt. Three others were taken to another hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is continuing.
