Man charged with inducing panic

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) –A Warren man is being held without bond at the Trumbull County Jail after police said he caused panic at his apartment complex Monday night.

Leroy Wright, 48, was arrested on inducing panic and marijuana trafficking charges after police were called to an apartment complex on Belmont Avenue N.W. around 10 p.m. Neighbors said Wright, who lives in an upstairs apartment, was acting crazy and banging on doors.

One woman said Wright pointed a gun at her and her 9-year-old son. The gun turned out to be a BB gun, police said.

A search of his apartment turned up drug paraphernalia.
