1 man dead after fatal Cincinnati gunfight

CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities in Cincinnati say one man is dead after a late night gun fight sparked by a domestic dispute over an ex-girlfriend.

Police say both men involved in the shooting had permits to carry concealed weapons.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Friday (http://cin.ci/1eLUbPH ) the fight started after a man went to the house where his ex-girlfriend lived and argued with the woman’s new boyfriend.

Authorities say the 26-year-old man former boyfriend died of a gunshot to his chest early Friday, while the 29-year-old current boyfriend was also shot.

Police say a 45-year-old female relative of the current boyfriend was shot in the leg, while the girlfriend and three children under 7 years of age were uninjured.
