Sharpsville (3-2) had defeated the Steelers in each of their previous three meetings since dropping five in a row between 2007-2010.

This match up marked the 7th time in the past four years that these two programs have squared off against one another.

Sharpsville (3-2) will now prepare for a showdown at McCracken Field against West Middlesex. Farrell (4-1) will head back home to take on Lakeview next week.
