A Spartan fumble on their first possession of the game put the Falcons in great position to take the early lead.

Starting their first drive from the Spartan 15 yard line, it took only two plays to get Fitch into the endzone. Harris called his own number and punched it in from five yards out to give the Falcons a 7-0 lead.

Committing three turnovers in the first quarter, the Spartans’ offense had trouble getting into a rhythm.

In the second quarter, it was Harris again, scoring from 19 yards out. A missed extra point made it 13-0 Fitch.

In the fourth quarter, it was Harris from three yards out to give the Falcons a three score advantage.

Later in the fourth, Gabe Chepke connected with Joey Harrington on a screen pass that went for 27 yards, making it 27-0.

Winless Boardman will travel to Perry next week.

Fitch hosts Youngstown East next.
