New Castle soars, now 4-1

New Castle has scored 32 points or more in each of their last four contests following tonight’s 47-12 victory over Chartiers Valley. The Hurricanes have now improved to 4-1 and 2-0 at Taggart Stadium. New Castle opened their home schedule with a 47-12 win against Riverside.

New Castle scored 20 points in the second quarter and outscored Chartiers in the second half, 21-0.

The Colts fall to 1-4 with their only win of the season at Hopewell, 34-14.

New Castle will travel to Blackhawk to take on the Cougars next Friday while coach Niel Loebig’s bunch will tangle with Montour.
