Leading 7-0, the Tigers’ new quarterback Graham Mincher connected with Mark Schuler on a 22-yard touchdown reception, increasing the lead to 14-0.

Springfield led 21-0 after the 3rd quarter.

United would score two touchdowns in the 4th quarter, but Springfield hung on for the victory.

The Eagles drop to 2-3 overall.
