Bookmobile turns 75 in Trumbull County

WARREN, Ohio — The library on wheels in Trumbull County is celebrating its seventy-fifth birthday.

In 1938, the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library first instituted the bookmobile service.

Today, the library on wheels makes over 100 stops every three weeks throughout the county.

The bus holds over 3,500 items and over 197,000 items were checked out in 2012 alone.
