Howland girls blank Harding

Howland defeated Warren Harding 5-0 Saturday afternoon in girls high school soccer.

Jordan Entler got the scoring started with a goal at the 32:46 mark of the 1st half.  Hope Sutton was credited with the assist.

About 19 minutes later, Jenn Boyd found the back of the net off the assist from Heather Stinson, giving the Tigers a 2-0 lead.

Stinson scored a goal at the 7:22 mark off an assist from Boyd, making it 3-0 Howland.  And with a few minutes later, Jenna Dorchock was the fourth different Tiger to find the back of the net in the 1st half, booting one in off the Stinson assist, giving Howland a 4-0 halftime lead.

Kayla Watson scored the lone goal of the second half, scoring at the 15:58 mark off the Sutton assist.

Howland out shot Warren Harding 20 to 2.

The Tigers improve to 9-2 on the season while the Raiders fall to 6-5-2.
