Ohio police: deaths of 2 just days apart related

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in northeast Ohio say a man about to talk to police about the death of a woman found in a motel room hanged himself.

Police in Boardman near Youngstown say 44-year-old Donald Zuppo of Girard apparently hanged himself in a city park Sept. 19. He apparently had found 21-year-old Shaina Criss dead in a motel room two days earlier, possibly of a drug overdose.

Police found her body along a road in Youngstown and believe the man had dumped it there.

The (Youngstown) Vindicator (http://bit.ly/196qGpz ) reported Saturday that police were unsure of the relationship between the two.

The coroner says toxicology results for the woman are still pending. There was no sign of blunt trauma on her.
