Brookfield rallies past Warren JFK

Brookfield scored 28 unanswered points to defeat Warren JFK 28-14 Saturday night.

The Eagles got on the board on a 78 yard touchdown run by Mike Roscoe.

JFK found the end zone again when Roscoe hit Chad Zallow on a 75 yard touchdown pass, giving the Eagles a 14-0 lead with 8:21 left in the 2nd quarter.  Roscoe finished 14-21 for 234 yards passing, one touchdown and one interception.

Brookfield answered later in the frame when Augustus Necastro found Kasey Tingler on 4th and 11 for a 27 yard touchdown pass, making the score 14-7 with 5:35 left in the 2nd quarter.

The Warriors tied the game in the 3rd quarter when Joe Clark ran into the end zone from five yards out, making it a 14-14 game.

Moments later, Brookfield took the lead on Clark’s second touchdown run of the game, this from nine yards out, giving the Warriors a 21-14 advantage.  Clark finished with 164 yards on 34 carries and those two touchdowns.

In the 4th quarter, Brookfield continued to score, with Necastro and Tingler connecting again, this a 13 yard touchdown pass with 6:17 left in the 4th quarter to give the Warriors a 28-14 lead.  Necastro finished 11-15 for 230 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
