MAHONING TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania (WKBN) — An Edinburg man has died after crashing his motorcycle Sunday night.

Rodney Suszynski, 40,  was traveling on Route 224 (West State Street) in Mahoning Township around 8 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving and hit a guardrail.

According to police reports, Suszynski attempted to regain control and traveled back onto the roadway but was thrown from the bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Route 224 was closed for about five hours as crews worked to clear the scene and investigators reconstructed the accident.
