Burger King robbed at gunpoint

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The Burger King on Midlothian Bouleavrd in Youngstown was robbed Monday morning.

According to police, the suspect came into the store around 8:30 a.m. with a gun and demanded money. He told the clerk to put the money in a black bag and set it on the counter.

The suspect then walked to the back office with the store manager where the safe is located and took about $2,500 in cash.

The suspect left the restaurant on a green bicycle.

Customers were in the restaurant at the time of the robbery, but no one was injured.
