PBS show to air episode featuring Detroiters

DETROIT (AP) — An episode of a new PBS series that was filmed earlier this year in Detroit is set to air.

“Genealogy Roadshow” premiered last week.

Its second episode is to air on Monday. It was shot in Detroit.

Described as part detective story, part emotional journey, “Genealogy Roadshow” combines history and science to uncover Americans’ family stories.

The show’s first season is to feature participants from Detroit; Nashville, Tenn.; Austin, Texas; and San Francisco.
