BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — Kindergarten students at St. Charles Elementary in Boardman starred in their own feature presentation.
The kids hosted their parents and grandparents for the premier of their short film on Monday.
Each year, kindergarten teacher Patti Bartholomew starts the year off with a theme, and since St. Charles Home and School organization bought all the teachers an iPad to use in their classrooms, Mrs. Bartholomew decided to go with a movie theme and use the new technology with the students.
“I know the parents and grandparents will just love it, and they’re very excited to come in today,” said Bartholomew. “It’s just nice to welcome the families because we’re partners in their children’s education. They get to see the technology being used as well.”
The students gave their parents autographed pictures and they got to enjoy plenty of movie popcorn.
