Accident closes street in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Market Street in Youngstown is back open Tuesday night after being closed for two hours due to a traffic crash.

Around 6 p.m., pick up truck rear-ended a car in front of the old South High School. The impact spun the car around, landing the vehicle on the front lawn of the school.

Both drivers were taken to St. Elizabeth’s Health Center for treatment.  Ambulance crews became concerned when it appeared the driver of the car was suffering a heart attack.
