Seventh annual Chili Cook-off held at Avion on the Water

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Some familiar faces put their cooking skills to the test Wednesday night at the seventh annual Boardman Optimist Political-Celebrity Chili Cook-Off.

The event was held at Avion on the Water in Beaver Township. Taking third place was State Representative Ron Gerberry of Austintown. Coming in second was Mahoning County Commissioner Dave Ditzler

First place was our own WKBN/WYTV reporter Roxann Sebest and WKBN weatherman Rich Morgan.

The People’s Choice Award went to Mahoning County Commissioner Anthony Traficanti.

All proceeds from the event go to the club’s youth programs.
