In a defensive struggle it was the Falcons’ defense that would get on the board first, picking up a safety and taking a 2-0 lead.

In the second quarter, Antwan Harris found daylight and broke free for a 47 yard touchdown run to put Fitch up 9-0.

The Falcons, ranked fourth in the state, will host Massillon next week and will be the Game of the Week.

East will travel to Canfield next Friday.
