The Sharpsville Blue Devils are back in the win column again following their come from behind win over West Middlesex, 20-12. The Devils trailed the Big Reds 12-0 in the first half. Senior Ben Bucher had a 55-yard touchdown to give Sharpsville (4-2) the deciding score at 13-12.

This season, the Blue Devils had lost their two contests by a combined 7 points.
Tyler Lucich opened the scoring for West Middlesex with a 64-yard scamper to give the Reds a 6-0 advantage early on. Middlesex (4-2) lost for the first time in five games.
The Blue Devils have defeated West Middlesex in eight of their last nine meetings.
Sharpsville will meet Wilmington at Greyhound Stadium next week while West Middlesex will travel to Sharon. The Big Reds’ coach Ed Roberson played for the Tigers’ coach Jim Wildman in the mid-90s.
