YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN)– The foundation of Marquita Carr’s home shifted, after a woman driving a car lost control Saturday night.
“I was sitting in the house, and I heard a big boom, and glass breaking. And then when we came outside, the lady, they said she went airborne and landed in my house,” said Carr.
Carr’s house sits at the corner of Crandall Avenue and Wirt Street on Youngstown’s North Side.
Police have not said what caused the driver to go off course.
Carr said she usually sits in the area of the home that was hit by the vehicle.
The driver of the car was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment.
