North Bloomfield man indicted for murder

WARREN, Ohio — A North Bloomfield man has been indicted on two counts of murder in connection to a fatal stabbing at a bar last week.

William Helmuth, 45, was indicted Friday by a Trumbull County grand jury. He remains in the Trumbull County Jail on a $1 million bond pending his arraignment next week.

Helmuth is charged in the Jan. 16  stabbing death of Craig Neighbor, 41, of Bristolville.

According to police, the two men got into an altercation at the Bristol Inn that ended with Helmuth stabbing Neighbor.

Neighbor was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
