Shots fired at Purdue, police on scene

Cold air continues to move in as an arctic cold front pushes south of the Valley. A wave of low pressure will impact areas south of us but there is a chance southern Columbiana County could get in on the snow with slightly higher accumulations of a trace up to 2″ possible there. Otherwise, the area will generally see less than 1″ accumulation through the day Tuesday. Snow will taper off during the afternoon and evening. The weather pattern stays active through the week ahead with another storm system moving through Thursday and one slated for Saturday.

Tuesday: Cold. A chance of snow showers under mostly cloudy skies. Accumulations generally less than 1″. A trace up to 2″ possible for southern Columbiana County.  High 15.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy and cold. Low  1.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Chance of snow in the evening. High 13.
