A Trumbull County woman will spend two years in prison for her role in the shooting death of an accomplice in a botched burglary.
Mindy Sierra, 33, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to attempted aggravated burglary and involuntary manslaughter. Sierra is one of four people charged in the July 12 incident in which Terry Allen was killed while trying to rob the Niles home of Roy Hahn.
Hahn shot Allen through his front door and was not charged.
Sierra is the second person sentenced in the case. Just last week, Michael Burns of Mineral Ridge was sentenced to 11 years in prison for his role in Allen’s death.
