Bayuk hired at Warren JFK

Warren JFK has announced the official hiring Jeff Bayuk as Head Football Coach for the 2014 season. Bayuk was selected after a thorough review of the current football program and an extensive selection process of over 35 applicants.

Coach Bayuk joins the Kennedy Family with over 36 years of coaching experience; 24 as a Head Coach. Coach Bayuk started his teaching and coaching career in 1980 at Ursuline High School. Bayuk has guided the programs at Canfield High School, Hubbard High School, and Campbell Memorial High School compiling a 155-94 record. His accomplishments include 7 playoff appearances and 6 TAC-8 Championships.  After stepping down at Campbell Memorial in 2009, Bayuk served as an assistant coach at both Howland High School and Warren Harding High School.

Coach Bayuk has been Trumbull County coach of the year 11 times and Mahoning Valley Coach of the year 14 times.  Additionally he is an accomplished teacher having been nominated as a Disney Teacher of the Year in 2003.

Coach Bayuk’s experience and knowledge as well as his ability to form an experienced staff will allow the Kennedy Football team to hit the ground running toward a successful 2014 season.

Coach Bayuk stated, “I am very excited about the opportunity to direct a program that is steeped in such great tradition and success.  We will do our best to build on those successes and to create an environment of enthusiasm, respect and competition that will make all members of the Warren JFK community proud.”
