Bond changed for murder suspect

The man accused in the beating death of his girlfriend is now being held without bond.

Larry Johnson, 39, appeared in Mahoning County Court on Wednesday where he pleaded not guilty to murder charges connection to the beating death of his live-in girlfriend, 26-year-old LaShea Parker.

When Johnson was initially arrested, his bond was set at $1 million.

Prosecutors say Johnson killed Parker inside their Shelby Road home in Youngstown.

Parker’s body was found New Year’s Eve by a neighbor.
