Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC presented checks to the Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown and to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign of Mahoning County.

During the auto group’s Operation Santa Claus program, $50 was donated from every sale of a new Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC.

The Boys and Girls Club received the amount raised from the sales of Chevrolet vehicles, totaling $12,900. And the Salvation Army received the money raised from sales of Buick and GMC vehicles, totaling $8,900.

Checks were presented to the organizations at each of the dealerships on Market Street in Boardman.
