BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) – Six of eight prospective Democratic candidates vying for the party’s nomination to challenge Gov. Tom Corbett’s re-election bid are scheduled to appear at a Wednesday evening forum at Lehigh University.

The 6 p.m. Wednesday event is sponsored by Democratic Party organizations in the area, as well as Service Employees International Union Local 668.

Scheduled to appear are businessman and former state Revenue Secretary Tom Wolf, former state environmental protection secretaries John Hanger and Katie McGinty, Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski, Lebanon County Commissioner Jo Ellen Litz and Pentecostal minister Max Myers.

Other declared Democratic candidates for the May 20 primary are state Treasurer Rob McCord and U.S. Rep. Allyson Schwartz, although they are not planning to attend.
