Mahoning EMA director resigns

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Mahoning County’s Emergency Management Agency director is stepping down.

On Thursday morning, Mahoning County commissioners accepted the resignation of Clark Jones, who officials said has health problems.

Jones joined the EMA office in 2000 as the Planning and Operations Coordinator and took over the duties of director in late 2007. For the time being, Jones’ duties are being handled by Deputy Director Dennis O’Hara until commissioners officially pick a replacement.
