WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — The democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor makes a stop today in the Valley.

Sharen Neuhardt was one of many democrats who showed up for a brunch at Cafe 422 in Warren.

Trumbull County commissioner Frank Fuda hosted the brunch for Democratic Central Committee members.

Neuhardt was also a speaker at the event, during her FIRST official visit to the Valley.

She was recently tapped as running mate by democratic gubernatorial candidate Ed Fitzgerald.

Neuhardt says if elected…one of the first things she wants to do is sit down and talk with local leaders.

“I think that his area needs to be listened to a lot more by the folks in Columbus. We need to ask the local leaders what’s going on? What do you need? How can we help? We can’t be making decisions about Trumbull County behind closed doors in Columbus,” said Sharen Neuhard, democrat candidate for lietenant governor.

If elected, Neuhardt also plans to focus on bringing new business, and good jobs to the Mahoning Valley.
