Woman faces felony assault charges

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) — Call it a family feud. A woman from Youngstown is in jail tonight, facing felony assault charges– after police say she stabbed two of her sisters!

This woman: 30 year old Jessica Gomez was arrested just after midnight Saturday.

Police say they were called out to a house on Blackburn street by one of Gomez’s sisters– saying that another sister had been stabbed.

When they got there, everyone was gone– and there was blood all over the wall and floor.

Eventually, they found one of the victims being treated by paramedics in a nearby parking lot.

She was taken to St. E’s with stab wounds to her face and arm.

Another sister later walked in to the hospital with a stab wound to her leg.

Police arrested Gomez a short time later.

She claims the attacks were in self defense.
